Put into operation in 2018, the musical fountain at Ansai People’s Park is a large‑scale urban acoustic‑controlled program‑controlled musical fountain. Its water system winds through the whole park, equipped with colorful underwater lights. Accompanied by northern Shaanxi folk songs and popular music, it features diverse water patterns including high jets, swaying water curtains and fancy matrix displays. Water columns rise and fall in rhythm with music, setting off a brilliant night view of the Yan River.
Difficult Synchronization of Music, Water Patterns and Lights
The fountain features northern Shaanxi folk songs with varied rhythms and melodies. It is challenging to achieve real-time, precise coordination among water jet movements and underwater color light changes, often resulting in disjointed audio-visual effects and compromising the nighttime viewing experience.
Harsh Riverside Outdoor Environment
Located alongside the Yan River, the fountain is exposed to humid air, sediment and long-term wind and rain erosion. These factors may cause equipment seepage, circuit corrosion and lamp damage, posing risks to long-term stable operation.
Unstable Presentation of Diverse Water Patterns
frequent switching of diverse water shapes easily leads to fluctuating water pressure, jet deviation and disordered water flow, which undermines the neatness and ornamental value of the fountain performance.
Restricted Night Scene Debugging
Ambient urban lights and Yan River night background interference weaken the saturation and layered sense of underwater lights, making it difficult to present the intended gorgeous nightscape effect.
